Paraskevi Boulaniki is an Applications Lecturer in the Department of Public and Community Health, School of Public Health, University of Western Attica. She is a Public Health Technologist (TE) and holds a postgraduate degree in Public Health from the National School of Public Health. She also holds a title in Pedagogical Studies from PATES-SELETE.

She has extensive teaching and laboratory experience at the undergraduate level in the following subjects: Food Hygiene, Food Quality and Safety Systems, Hygiene of Livestock Units, School Hygiene and Safety, Hospital Hygiene. She is a member of the Program Committee and the Practical Training Committee of the Department of Public and Community Health, School of Public Health, University of Western Attica.

Her research interests cover Food Hygiene, Food Quality and Safety Systems, Hygiene of Livestock Units, School Hygiene and Safety, and Hospital Hygiene. She has published 4 Greek and international papers in peer-reviewed journals indexed in reputable databases and 2 publications in the reputable journal “TECHNOLOGICAL CHRONICLES” of TEI-Athens.

She has participated in conferences and workshops. At the 7th Panhellenic Congress of Public Health and Health Services, and the 2nd Satellite Symposium on Occupational Health, where she received award for the 3rd best oral presentation.

She has authored teaching notes for TEI of Athens for several years in the subjects: “Professional Ethics,” “Hygiene of Businesses and Foods I and Hygiene of Businesses and Foods II,” “Hygiene of Livestock Units.”
