LEARNING RESULTS
The course is an in-depth introduction to the concepts and fundamentals of health research methodology. The deepening of the fundamental concepts that govern the research process in the field of public health, as well as the specific methodology used, is done in the context of the epidemiology course.
The course material aims to train students in the basic principles and technical writing of a scientific paper, focusing on both substantive and formal aspects (typing and aesthetic appearance). Basic knowledge is provided about the ethics governing the writing of the scientific paper, the characteristics of the main types of scientific papers (review, systematic analysis, research paper, meta-analysis), while developing the skills required in order to be able to respond to all stages of preparing a scientific paper.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student who has the skill and will be properly prepared and able to respond immediately and effectively to the academic reports of the curriculum (assessment through assignments), but will also be trained in correct and thorough recording . . his work. Finally, the student will be able to write a scientific paper in the context of the requirements of the study program and furthermore is of decisive importance in the exercise of responsibilities of the graduates of the Department in the context of Public and Community health.
