LEARNING OUTCOME
This course is the basic introductory course in the concepts of Health Systems and Public Health policies.

The aim of the course is for students to understand the objectives, basic principles and types of Health Systems as well as the terms and principles of setting priorities and planning Public Health policies.

 

Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to:

  • have acquired the basic knowledge base regarding the basic principles governing Health Systems internationally and the basic types of Health Systems
  • to have acquired a global understanding of the steps of planning Public Health policies
