LEARNING OUTCOME 

The aim of the course is familiarizing students with the subject of sustainable industrial development and health management and disposal of various categories of industrial waste, by focusing on the application of pollution prevention and control techniques. The main goal is the protection of the Environment and Public Health from industrial development.

By teaching the course students will be able to promote the implementation of modern Environmental Management Systems, in the context of their work tasks, in order to achieve the best possible Environmental performance of Businesses and to operate environmentally friendly.

Project management in accordance with the requirements of EU legislation and directives in quality assurance issues            

  • Decision-making on issues related to the environmental licensing of projects
  • Respect for the natural environment through legislative measures that ensure the quality of the environment

STUDENT EVALUATION

Written final examination including Multiple Choice Test, Short Answer Questions, Judgement Questions. Students, upon receipt of exam questions, are informed on the evaluation of exam topics, according to their difficulty.

The assessment depends on the answer given, its clarity, the student’s critical thinking and language proficiency.
