LEARNING OUTCOME

The course aims to provide students with knowledge about the strategy and policy of Primary Health Care (PHC) services. Describes and analyzes the organizational structure of PHC services. It also analyzes the process of developing strategies and policies for these services and describes the operational system. It also aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge that will help them participate in the development of strategies and policies of PHC services.  

Upon successful completion of the course the students will be able to:

  • know the basic concepts concerning the strategy and policy of PHC services
  • analyze and know how to organize and provide PHC services
  • recognize the role and importance of strategic management and human resource management in health care facilities
  • define the basic concepts and functions of the strategic management of PHC services
  • know and use the techniques and models for the development of strategic and policy services of PHC
  • know the roles and responsibilities of those involved in the development of strategic and political services of PHC
  • participate in the design of efficient and modern PHC services.

  • Basic principles of organization and management of healthcare services
  • Principles of strategic management and planning
  • Techniques and tools for the development of strategic and policy services of PHC

  • Evaluation and definition of strategy and strategic objectives
  • Current trends in the strategy and policy of PHC services.

 

STUDENT EVALUATION

Written / Oral final exam (100%) which includes:

  • Multiple-choice questions
  • Short answer questions
  • Development questions
